I can only see 3DES when i use my smart card for Outlook encryption. However,
I can see AES256 if i uses soft token that is generated by Microsoft CA.
Does anyone know what are the extra "field"/"extension" required by the cert
in te smart card to enable AES256?
My platform is WinXp SP2 and Outlook 2003 SP3. Thanks!
On a side note, brian mentioned in a separate thread (from mine) the
following:
I also question the encryption algorithm. I would expect to see "3DES"
instead of "AES", but perhaps that's how your certificate was created.
