End Recurring Appointment

Since recurring appointments are stored as a single event in the calendar, we
need a way to end recurring appointments without making any other changes to
past exceptions. If we could end the recurring appointment, then we could
copy and paste an instance of the recurring appointment and make changes to
the copy without affecting the changes to past ocurences.

Are you suggesting that I export the past entries, delete the recurring
meeting then set up a new recurring meeting? What is the best way to export
the past entries?

What I was suggesting, is that we need a way to enter an end date for the
recurring meeting and save it without affecting the exceptions to past
ocurrences of the event.

If you are going to be changing them so they are recurring, that is one
way to do it.

export to excel to preserve the meetings as individual items, then import
them. (Using excel format makes it easy to delete other appointments that
also get exported.)

In the future, set a reasonable end date for recurring appointments,
especially if there will be exceptions made.
