End User License Agreement pop-up problem.

How do I make the End User License Agreement (EULA) stop popping up? It
comes up when Outlook starts, when I open an e-mail, when I start a new
e-mail, etc. I am using Outlook 2003 and have just installed it on my new
computer that has Windows Vista. I get the same EULA message when I use any
of my Office 2003 programs.
Thanks.

Typically the EULA agreement windows should only appear once. At the risk of
asking a dumb question, when it appears do you click the ACCEPT button or do
you close it using another means?

the same thing happens to me and I always have to click accept everytime I
opem Outlook and compose a new email.

I also have the same problem. Has anyone found an answer to how to make the
popup stop?

I am always amazed and annoyed at the people that respond to posts merely to
appear as if they know what they are talking about. If you haven't
experienced the problem and don't know the solution, don't post and waste
everyones time.

Not to beat this horse anymore, but I have been searching all day for an
answer to this issue. I just bought a new computer with Vista Premium (64
bit) and loaded Office 2003, With the exception of MS Access, I have the
EULA issue every time I open one of the programs.
HELP1 This is annoying.

As it happens, the poster at the end that included the link to modifying the
rights on the registry was correct.

The re-occuring of the EULA on Office 2003 on a Vista system was directly
linked to the user not having rights to modify the key.

Thank you, Brian Tillman for posting accurate and useful information

I just foollowed the diredtions to change the Registry to no avail.
That being said, I did not find the "\11" directory, only a "\12". This
machine came pre-loaded with an Office 2007 Trial version which I DID NOT
remove. Could that be my issue? Do I need to remove Office 2003 then Office
2007 and then re-install 2003?

You had the EXACT same thing I did.

What I finally did was uninstall Office 2007 trial, uninstall Office 2003,
delete the remaning c:\program files\Microsoft Office directories, reboot.

Then I re-installed Office 2003 and it worked but gave me the continuous
EULA notice.

Then I adjusted the rights on the registry key (the 11.0 key specifically)
and it corrected with out a reboot.

You will probably receive an error when you launch Outlook regarding the
mapi32.dll file version. That error is actually related to the another file,
see here:
http://help.lockergnome.com/office/Outlook-2003-mapi32-dll-error-ftopict947931.html if you get the error.

Hope that helps.
