End user requirement to fill form and other fun questions!

Hello,

I'm new, and have some questions I couldn't find answers for in Help/Forums.

a) Does each user require to have infopath installed in order to fill out
forms, or is there a seperate reader program that can be used? (I'm comparing
infopath to Adobe Acrobat forms)

b) We use Legato WorkflowXtender, is there any way to code the form data to
go into a Workflow environment by clicking the Submit button?

(a) Yes, in order to fill out InfoPath forms clients will need InfoPath
installed.
(b) I'm not familiar with Legato but have used K2.Net and we've been able to
submit the form into K2's workflow using the web service they provide. You
may need to write your own web service to act as an interface to submit the
form to. Again, am not sure here as I'm not familiar with Legato.

Maybe one day soon Microsoft will come out with a Windows patch that
includes a reader for the forms. That would be killer.

Until then, I'm stuck with Adobe pdf forms I guess.
