Ending Endnotes????

C

Cyndi

I have taken a new job and am doing final editing on a
document created by the last person on the job. It ends
with endnotes.

I need to add a page for a back cover but am unable to do
that with the endnotes being the last thing in document. I
can't use page or section break and if I use a carrier
return to get to a new page, there is a line as if in a
header but unaccessible through view header/footer and I
am unable to use any of the tools on the draw toolbar.

Any suggestions?????

Hi Cyndi,

You can set up endnotes to either appear at the end of each section, or at
the end of the document.

If you need to put stuff after the endnotes, you need the former setting,
and at least one section break.

If the document already contains several sections, you will have to set the
pagesetup of the sections at the beginning to suppress endnotes.
This can be done from the user interface in Word2002. In Word2000, you'd
need a macro. See "SuppressEndnotes" in the VBA help.

Regards,
Klaus
