Endnote 8 Mac Tiger

B

Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me with a small glitch I am havinh while
trying to cut references from word 2004 to New references into the
Endnote. It does copy but all text are in smal caps. What can I do to
keep the original format. I have already browsed in preferences and
changed a few thing and the problem persists...I am about to finish my
PhD thesis and have around hundreds of references to upload. Can You
help me?

I'm not sure I get it right. You have referneces in a Word document and
you are trying to import them back in EndNote??

Have you tried saving the file in RTF and opening it directly in EndNote
??

I don't completely understand what you are saying either, but here's a
guess....

You created a bibliography manually, in Word, by typing it.

Now you want to put those entries into EndNote so that you can use EndNote
to finish the formatting process.

Is that right? If so, I would say:

1) this sounds like an EndNote problem with how it is receiving the
text--check the EndNote preferences and default font settings, etc, check
the EndNote site for advice
http://endnote.com/support/ensupport.asp

Or,

2) don't bother. Connect EndNote to the internet and search your library or
database through it and download the references into EndNote directly from
the source. Your university library should be able to help with this.
