Endnote/Footnote Separators - not accessible in Word 2007?

Is there a way of removing or editing endnote/footnote separators or endnote
continuation message in Word 2007? It seems that this is a feature that one
cannot really use with Word 2007 although it was easily accessible with Word
2003.

It's really pretty much the same in both versions. You have to be in Draft
view to access the separators. See
