Endnote Section Not Printing

Melissa

Hello. Although I thought I had this problem solved,
apparently it is not. The problem is as follows:

I wanted to move the endnote section from the back of the
document to another section called "References." I was
told to set endnotes to come at the end of each section,
then suppress the endnotes for each section except for
the reference section. This appeared to work, and did on
screen. However, when I went to print the document, it
would only print the first page of the endnotes in the
references section and the rest of the endnotes were not
printed. (On the screen it shows the the endnotes on a
total of 4 pages - however, when printing, I get the
first page but then the printed page just jumps to the
next section without printing the remaining 3 pages of
endnotes.)

What do you recommend I do?

This section is printing now. I closed the file,
reopened it, and it worked. Weird.

It's amazing how many problems can be solved by (a) restarting Word or (b)
restarting Windows. <g>

Melissa:

It is worth knowing that the latest versions of Word rebuild the document
structure when you save the document. In doing so, they repair some errors.

When they re-open the document, they test the internal code and fix any
remaining errors they find.

That's why Save, Close, Exit, re-start Word, re-open the document can
sometimes fix problems. Word 2002 does this, Word 2003 is much more capable
at it. When its released, Word 2004 on the Mac should get it perfect!

Cheers
