EndNote X1 CWYW Patch is Now Available

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that there is now a patch available for EndNote X1 users that will restore cite-while-you-write functionality to Word 2008. You can download the patch here:

I've installed it on my Intel C2D Mac Mini and it seems to work well. As someone who depends on Word and EndNote for a living, learning that the X1 patch had finally been released was quite a pleasant surprise. I can finally stop using Word v.X!

I installed it too and not only does it work: it seems to be a lot
snappier than the old VBA-based add-on for 2004. I don;t know if it is
an AppleScrip vs VBA difference or if it is just that they had to clean
up the code quite a but, but I like it

They have a pretty blunt installer though. The .pkg simply installs it
in what it assumes is the default location for the add-on, regardless of
where you ahve set your Startup folder to be for Word...
