endnote

I have been using Endnote with Word for years but have had a
persistent problem that I think only affects users outside the US (I live
in Wales, UK). When using Endnote with Word, the cursor in Word stays
"stuck" as a pointer regardless of where in the document you point, i.e.,
it is no longer context sensitive such as the normal I-beam when in a
document or showing the footer and header symbol when pointing to
the top or bottom of a manuscript. Can anyone please let me know if
they are affected by this problem and if they have found a solution?
