I am working on a 474-page document with about 150 pages of Endnotes. When I
am working in those notes in Word 2007, they will often disappear. The only
way to get back to where I was working is to hit ctrl-end, which takes me not
to the end of the document but to the end of the text right before the notes
start. Then I have to page down until I get back to where I was working (the
go-to-page feature doesn't work in the endnotes, it just takes me to the
start of the notes). Eventually, the page will disappear again and I will
have to repeat this very frustrating and time-consuming step. I can't seem to
determine when and/or why the disappearing is happening. Sometimes it happens
during an auto-save or hard save, but other times will happen for no apparent
reason. Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts as to why it might be
happening? Thanks.
