I have this problem with endnotes, never with footnotes.
I work on them, and in the middle of typing in them, or sometimes when I use
the scroll button on the mouse, or when I navigate in them at all, the entire
endnote section goes blank on screen. I have to go back up to the document
text, and then go back down, to make the notes reappear.
I have found no pattern to what makes it happen. It happens when the page is
idle or when I am working. It is quite annoying.
