I have a Word 2003 document that will be printed in two volumes. Each volume
has two sections, one for front matter and one for the rest. Page numbering
starts from 1 in each section. I have inserted endnotes at the end of section
2 and the end of the document so that each volume will have an endnotes page,
with endnotes numbered from 1. The number of endnotes in section 2 is such
that 2 pages are required. No notes are split. The problem is that the second
page has a spurious page number and wont print. The endnotes page at the end
of the document exhibits the same problems if I add enough notes to require a
second page.
