Endnotes???

Cyndi

I'm new on a job and have to add a backcover to a booklet
designed by another person no longer with the company.

The booklet ends with endnotes...but I have to add a page
to be the back cover.

I cannot insert a page break, section break, etc. When I
use carrier returns to get to a new page, there is what
appears to be a line in a header. But in view header,
nothing is delete-able. I am also unable to use any
features on the draw toolbar.

I need to end the endnotes so I can add a back cover and
couldn't find anything in help or the MS knowledge base.

Can anyone help me out????

Thanks,
Cyndi

If this is any version before Word 2002, you'll have to either create the
back cover as a separate document or create it before the endnotes and fudge
the page numbering.

If it's Word 2002, insert a Next Page section break at the end of the
document and create your back cover. Set the endnotes to appear at the end
of each section instead of at the end of the document. If you already had
more than one section in the document already, go to Page Setup for each
section but the last two and check "Suppress endnotes" on the Layout tab. If
you didn't previously have any section breaks, then the endnotes will fall
at the end of Section 1, before the back cover, without any further effort.
