endnotes

Make sure you are in Normal view (choose View > Normal).
On the View menu, select Footnotes. Word displays the
Footnote/Endnote pane. In the Endnotes box, choose the
Endnote separator option. Finally select the separator and
delete it. Does this help?

Thanks Stefan

This helped, but can you now tell me how to delete the
spaces between the endnotes and the paragraph to which it
refers
