Engineering notation of numbers 1,2X103.. with 3 a superscript????

Is it possible to create a custom format of numbers in order to have
1X103?... 3 is the superscript...

I need it to graph a logarithmic y axis....

Your question is not at all clear.

You can use the formula =1*10^3.
You can edit the contents of a cell by selecting the 3 then: format cells -
font - superscript.
You can format the number to scientific: format cells - number - scientific

Don't know if this helps.

Thank u very much Gord Dibben... i´m afraid i couldn´t do what u
suggested... what about Alt + 179 ,... do i have to type this after 0"x"00 ??
or just press them together???

You hold down the Alt key and type 0179 (the zero is important) on the
number pad (not the main keyboard). And yes, you type it after the 0"x"00.
