English email message become chinese message

Hi ,

Has anyone facing below problem before ?

User sent email using OWA to external and internal users. The email content
is english word . However , when the internal user received. The email become
'garbage' chinese character. External users receive no problem . Any clue on
that ? Note : it happen intermittent.

This is example of the chinese wording: 挠慨ç²ç‘¥ç”½æ¥®æ½£æ•¤ã¸¢ã°Šä•ä…”挠湯整瑮∽å呈

Im using exchange 2003 clustered , outlook 2003 , IE6 latest sp and
exclaimer third party software.

Hm, that looks unusual. Does the entire message get turned into garbage,
or just certain sections? If it's just sections, were there any special
characters in that area, especially at the beginning? What encoding was
the message sent with?

Have you found a fix for this issue? We have ran into this same
issue recently and basically have the same configuration. We had a
Exchange 2003 cluster and built a new one and moved all the users to
it. Now every once in awhile this happens to people. I am guessing
that it is a problem with Excliamer because if you look at the message
in the user's sent items it is readable. Well Exclaimer doesn't mess
with that message. What version of Exclaimer are you running? On the
old server we were running 4.01 but on the new one it is 4.20.

The problem is with Exclaimer and I have the fix. If you email me I
will forward you the fix....

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm hoping a reinstall will correct this
problem since I haven't found anything.

Btw , i have found the problem ... it is because of the Exclaimer software .
Some how there is a bug in this software .. and it modified the email content
format .. and it corrupt the entire email . Worst is ... it happen
intermintent and vendor said will come out patch in next release.

So i hope you din bought the same software as me ...

What version are you running? We are using 4.22 and are still
experiencing this issue intermittently. They also gave a registry hack
that suppose to fix the issue which it did not. When is the new
version coming out?

We also using the latest one also ...They said they will released newer
version on MAY to handle this issues.
