English is not the language in the drop down boxes

I am running Access97 on Windows XP. When I click on the
drop down box in the page setup to choose an envelope size
(for example) the language is NOT ENGLISH. I can't find
anything in options, control panel - regional settings, or
properties of either Windows XP or Access97 that will
change this.
