English (UK) spellcheck corrections

in word, 'english (uk)' does not recognise many english words such as
realise, destabalise etc
which are spelt with an 's' rather than a 'z' as in the US.

everyone in the uk,australia, south africa etc and those learning english in
european countries repeatedly come across thisbut no-one knows how to fix it

I'm not seeing that here (Word 2003). Both "realise" and "destabilise" are
recognized as correct when the language of the text is correctly set to
