enhanced metafile in word and conversion in PDF

I use Visio to make up drawing and save them as EMF files.
These files are inserted in Word.
So far so good.
Once I want to make a PDF (With Acrobat standard 8.0) The images are oke.
The measurement annotations however are distorted.
Does anyone ever had this problem and knows what to do?
