Hy, I am helping a friend in finalising an etymological dictionary of an old language and now, in the end, all the definitions must be sorted alphabetically(each paragraph is a new definition). But because it has some sort of phonetical alphabet, where the same word can be written a little different (to reflect how it was spoken/written in different regions) Microsoft Word doesn't know how to sort the definitions. I have attached a pdf file with all the letters of the alphabet – where the letters between brackets ‘()’ are the same letter but they sound different (Ex: c (æ, À)). They are all embedded in a font called POLA.TTF
My question is how can I instruct Word to recognize the proper order of these characters?
