Is it possible to copy part of a drawing, enlarge it so I can print it on the
same page as the original. If it is, how do you do it? I am using Visio 2003

Hi MLloyd,

Resizing by just copying shapes, grouping them, then pulling on green
handles won't always work as well as you'd like. Because Visio shapes can
have "smart behaviors" that cause them to be more feature-ful than just
clip-art, and because font-sizes don't resize when you stretch a shape, you
won't get the desired result.

What I usually do is this:

1. Copy the whole drawing
2. Open a new, blank drawing
3. Edit > Paste > Spicial -- as enhanced metafile
4. Resize and crop the metafile as desired

You'll find the crop tool on the Picture toolbar. When you paste as
metafile, you're essentiallly changing the Visio graphics into dumb graphics
that stretch as you please. You won't have any of the Visio smart behaviors
that we all know and love, but you'll be able to blow up your drawing and
concentrate on particular details that are important to you.
