enroll email address with live id account

Robert

Hi,

I've been sharing calendars with partner's computer for years with no
glitches. It's not been working for a week now, so I deleted the shared
calendar on Office online and shared it again to the internet. Sent myself a
share email from that computer, but when I open it I get a message telling me
that I need to: enroll this email with a Live ID account. Can't find any
information on that on Microsoft's site. Why do they give us messages that
have no information on how to perform that action?

Thanks,

Robert

is the address associated with a passport account? (Live ID is a new name
for what we've know for years as "passports")

Hello, Diane. Well, I guess that's the problem. I thought the way I did
this before was simply to send an email from one computer to the other using
our usual emai addresses. So, no, the address is NOT associated. We each
have hotmail accounts, which get us into Office Online, etc. How can I
associate our regular email addresses? That's the question.

Oh, and we both use Vista Ultimate and Office 2007, not that it should
matter for this problem.

Thanks for responding.

You should be sending it using the address used for the office online
account.

You can create a passport for any valid address (hotmail/msn address have
passports automatically) - go to
https://accountservices.passport.net/ppnetworkhome.srf?vv=600&lc=1033
