Ensuring ActiveX for Users

Looking for best practice guidelines on how to ensure that all users would
have their activex working on their IE8 browser. Some of the pages for some
users are not loading up.

Are you using the compatibility features of IE8? Check that first.

Compatabilty View Settings set to 'Display all websites in compatability
view".

Did not make any difference when trying to Build Team. Same message comes
up: "There was an error loading the page. Please try again by clicking
Refresh. if this problem persists contact administrator".

Note that sections of the page including currently selected team members and
the project drilldown details appear fine. It is just the section to the top
left, which is is supposed to display the enterprise resources that displays
this error.

Which version of Project Server are you using? Patch level?

Thanks Gary. Not sure where to look for it. Here is what I have: MSFT office
Project 2007 (12.0.4518.1014) MSO (12.0.4518.1014). Got this from About
section on Proj Pro. Is there any other place, including on the server,
where I can obtain the patch level?
