Ent/Exch: Scheduling shows others free/busy, but not mine

S

Steve Feaster

I'm using Entourage 2004 on an Intel Mac, connecting to an Exchange 2003
server - no other email accounts.

If I create a new event and invite others to it, the "scheduling" area shows
the invitees free/busy information, but it shows "no information" for ME.

Suggestions?

By "no information" do you see a gray bar where your schedule should be
or do you simply see a white field with no information. Can you verify
you do see information when you're using Outlook on a Windows computer?

I see the same issue, as well other users see my availability on an
inconsistent basis - sometimes info is there, other times it is greyed out,
i.e., no information

Hi Eric!

Do you know if the different folks who see the intermittent occurrence
are on different Exchange servers?

Also, can you try viewing the same problem via Outlook on a Windows
machine? Is it correct or does it still show the same problem? Please be
sure to test the same scenario that you're seeing with Entourage.

We have one exchange server and an OWA server. There are 2 AD servers and
the users may be connecting to one or the other.
On Outlook on Windows, it takes about 10-15 minutes for availability to sync
(when it is shown at all).
Due to some other issues, we had to reboot one of the AD servers, and
availability (at least today) is showing properly.
What I am not seeing in Entourage (and never have) is the attendee status
(equivalent to Outlook Tracking)
