My company has upgraded to MS Office 2008 for Mac from Office 2008. With
that change, I¹ve had to modify how I sync my Treo with Windows Mobile using
Missing Sync, now relying on Sync Services to pass the data back and forth
through iCal.
With this in mind, I do realize that iCal and Entourage work differently in
how they handle events (multiple calendars in iCal vs a single calendar in
ENT). As a result, it seems that the only way to get new events from
Entourage into my Treo requires me to enter the events in a new Calendar
created by iCal within Entourage, which corresponds with the Entourage
calendar created within iCal.
This is an issue as we¹re on an Exchange server here at my office and I must
keep my calendar on Exchange for meeting planning, etc. I definitely don¹t
want to have to enter every event twice (once in the Exchange-linked
calendar and once in the Sync Services-created calendar).
Is there anyway that events posted to my Exchange calendar can be
automatically added to the Sync Services-created calendar and thereby
carried over into iCal and into my handheld?
Thanks in advance.
