Enter a name using mailbox name

Hi
I am trying to create a custom contact for our organisation to use in a
public folder.
I have a page which gives details of the contact item creator.
Department is selected from a combo list.
I would like the name to be inserted automatically from the outlook mail box
name rather than typed in.
Is there a way to insert this value automatically?
