Enter a web site that has been extended with a project servercompatible template

I have a Project Server 2007 SP1 running on MOSS 2007 SP1 with SQL
2005 SP2 on Windows 2003 R2.

My colleague had problems with a project schedule so he dis-associated
the project workspace and created a new schedule (deleting the
origninal). We now wish to attach the original project workspace to
the new schedule and we get the "Enter a web site that has been
extended with a project server compatible template" error.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to attach the schedule to the
existing project workspace?
