Enter button after a scan

How do I scan characters into a field than have the form
autmatically go to the next record.

I assume that you have a bar code scanner of some type? When you scan data
into a program, the scanned data appears to have some from the keyboard.
Your program thinks it was typed in. You should be able to configure your
scanner to send a newline character or a tab character after each scan. Have
you looked at the way your scanner is configured?
