i am trying to get the sum of two cells or $30, whichever is less

g98*3<30

if g98*3 is more than $30 i want it to return $30
otherwise return the sum of G98*3

can anyone help me?

anyway based on what you did wrote after that.....

=if(G98*3>30,30,G98*3)
