Enter Key

When I hit the enter key this shows up( -\) from the alpha keyboard, and a
(12) is entered when I hit the enter key on the numeric keyboard. Also some
of the numbers when typed on the numberic keyboard are bringing up symbols.
Does anyone know how to fix this

Are you saying this isn't related to Microsoft. I run windows and it is
happening in Excel and word.
