Enter network password dialogue prevents other accounts fromdownloading mail

Sometimes the "Enter network password dialogue" is displayed. All the
settings are correct, as they work 99% of the time. I think it's just
related to a temporary network issue. The problem is that this is a
modal dialogue and seems to block send/receive from any other account.
It also doesn't "Clear up" on it's own. You need to physically click
OK or cancel.

This causes problems because I am often not on my computer and get my
mail synced from outlook to my phone. I will go for a stretch of time
thinking that I'm not receiving email, only to come back to the office
and find that it's sitting on this dialogue waiting for a response. I
click OK and it will then download all the backlogged email.

Any suggestions of how to prevent this with settings, macros, etc?
