enter task duration - have dates automatically update

I want to enter the estimated days to complete task to set baseline and enter
the start date and have Project update the estimated completion date. Using
predatsessors to have the various task dates roll forward. Which column do I
use to enter the estimate hours or what are the steps to accomplish this
process.

Thanks

Hi kfschaefer ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The Duration column is the one you want. Any times entered therin are
estimated times. You seem to be new to Project, perhaps you'd like to have
a look at my series on Microsoft Project in the TechTrax ezine at this site:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the articles before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
