Enter text in a combo box?

Is it possible to fill in text within a drop down box? For example, can a
drop down list include:

"Yes"
"No"
"Other:____(Free Text)______"

Thank you.

FYI - I am not sure what version of Access I have (1997?), as this is a work
computer, but I know for sure that it isn't 2007!

If you mean to add text into the blanks, then it's not that simple. It
would be easier to do what most forms (paper ones I mean) do - provide
a check mark for 'Other' and enable a separate text box for the Other
entry when selected.

You can simply type in whatever you want in the combobox, without
selecting 'Yes' or 'No'.

Do you want the database to 'remember' what you type in and add it to
the drop down list next time? To do this, I guess you will need to write
codes for the After_Update event.
