Enter text in a combo box?

Is it possible to fill in text within a drop down box? For example, can a
drop down list include:

"Yes"
"No"
"Other:____(Free Text)______"

Thank you.

FYI - I am not sure what version of Access I have (1997?), as this is a work
computer, but I know for sure that it isn't 2007! Also, I am a user who has
taught myself, so please explain any jargon!

You can use combos to help you with boiler plate text. Make sure that the
limit to list property of the combo is set to No (the standard default).
That will allow you to select text from the combo, modify it and store the
resultant modification in your table. There is no feature that will prompt
you to fill in the blanks. You'll have to write your own code to prompt the
user if he selects one of the items that requires fill ins.
