Dear all,
I'm mighty confused about how to enter actual costs into a project plan
for a material resource. Assuming, I have a task T1 which has only a
material resource associated with it with a value of 20000$. When I use
the "Table:Cost" view to enter, lets say 25000$, as actual cost for the
task T1, the total cost of the task goes up to 20000 + 25000 = 45000$.
How can I understand that the original cost of the material and the
actual cost are added?
And how do I enter actual cost correctly but still have a reference to
the original planning?
Under Option -> Calculation, I deactivated "actual cost are always
calculated by MS Project".
Thanks for your help,
Riko
