Entering Actual Work on PWA Timesheet

In Customizing Project Web Access; Under the section Specifying default
method for reporting tasks....when I change the settings from Percent Work
Complete to Hours of work done per hour, per day, per week......I still can
not enter Actual Work on the My Tasks timesheet view of PWA. Do I have to
republish the project plans for the changes to take affect and the Actual
Work field to accept data?

After you change the default method of tracking progress in PWA, your PM's
must open each project they managed and click Collaborate - Publish -
Republish Assignments. This will "push" the new method of tracking progress
to each user's timesheet in PWA. Please note, however, that this will
affect only UNSTARTED tasks. Any uncompleted tasks for which progress was
entered using the former method of tracking must continue to use the former
method of tracking until the task is completed. Hope this helps.
