Project Server 2007 Question. A client is going to use the My Tasks
page for resources entering Actuals against assignments. They are
wanting to only work with Project Tasks and avoid the appearance of a
timesheet system. However, we know that this will take away some
features the My Timesheet page provides and are trying to understand
what will be lost if the My Timesheet is not used. I have a
workaround for resources to submit Planned Admin Time. Is there a way
to "lock down" time periods from any updates in My Tasks? The "Close
Tasks for Updates" closes the task, but what if a task spans an
accounting period and the the task needs to remain open but would need
to prevent any updates to dates that have been processed for billing?
