If you do not have a tablet PC to enter handwritten text/drawings, how do you
accomplish entering text/drawings in OneNote? Is this possible?

Just a note of caution. With OneNote 2007, you won't get the full
TabletPC-like support for external tablets in Windows XP unless you have
the TabletPC Edition, which is only shipped with TabletPC though.
Many editions of Windows Vista though include tablet support, so you
won't have the same problem there.

I am planning to purchase a new laptop with Vista Ultimate. (can hardly wait
for it to NOT...). Have checked out some laptops (not tablets) that have a
point and write touchpad. Interesting to me. Any experience anyone???

I'm having a strange problem using my wacom tablet with One Note 2007. I
didn't have this problem with the original OneNote.

When I choose the pen tool and write on my tablet, I don't see what I've
written/ drawn on my OneNote page. It's as if the tool or the tablet isn't
working. But, when I switch to cursor mode, what I've drawn then appears on
the page, so the pen and tablet are working, but the visual doesn't appear
until I exit pen mode.

Again, with the first version of OneNote, I didn't have this problem.
