Entering text in a worksheet

Kenneth

When I type the letters ACN into a cell on Excel
worksheet, they appear as CAN instead of ACN. In other
words the A and C are transposed. Does anyone know how to
correct this problem?

Blame Canada.. It's their fault, make them change the name of their country
or
tools>autocorrect, type in acn and delete it.. Or press space and ctrl + z
when you enter it

To disable this function go to Tools ... AutoCorrect
You will then see a box with different values starting
with (c). You can disable this function with two ways.
You can uncheck the Replace As you Type Box. Or you can
scroll down the box and until you see "acn" and then
replace with "can". Highlight the row that "acn" is on
and click the Delete button.

Please let me know if this helps or if more explaination
is needed.

Thanks

Joe

Click on a blank cell. Type ACN in the formula bar (not
the cell itself), then highlight it. Do not hit Enter.
Click on Tools, Spelling, Add to Dictionary.
