Entering Time in PWA

We have recently enbaled time tracking in PWA:
* Specify the default method for reporting progress on tasks -> Hours of
work done per day or per week
* Lock down defaults -> Allow project managers to change the default method
for reporting progress..
* Time period settings: -> Week starts on: Sunday
* Non Managed Periods - Allow Project and Project Web Access users to
update actuals.
* The default time periods displayed in resources' timesheets. -> Weekly
* Resources should report their hours worked every day

Here's the problem: Existing tasks do not permit entry of time. New task
do. If a resrouce is removed from a task and then added back again, then the
task permits entry of time.

How do we allow tmie entry for existing tasks en masse?

Republish the tasks.

And, before doing so, confirm the reporting method: Tools > Customize >
Published Fields.
