Entering time

Does anyone have a creative ways to keep resources from entering time against
a task within a project after a certain date? For example, We only want
time to be entered against a task up until the last day of the month. After
that, no time should be able to be entered. You can't remove the resource
because there are actuals posted against it.... Any ideas? Thanks!

You have basically two choices:

1. Use the Managed Time Periods feature of Project Server.

2. Make this a training and performance issue. Teach your people how to
correctly enter time in the system and then hold them accountable for their
performance (and deal appropriately with those who don't cooperate).
