Enterprise 2007 Install Issue

I have a new Dell with Vista Home Premium installed. I am installing Office
Enterprise 2007. The install worked, but when I open Word from the start
menu or from an existing word file it configures Microsoft Enterprise 2007
for about 10-15 seconds and then behaves normally. I created a shortcut on
my desktop and this works fine - no configuration step. I also tried
uninstalling the software and reinstalling but no change.

Any suggestions?
