Enterprise Calendars - best practice

Steve

is there anyway I can set an enterprise calendar to default when a Project
Manager creates a new plan or from an existing template? Or will they always
have to goto Chaneg Working Time and select the relevant one for their
project?

If you have a calendar set for a project or template it should persist. If
you want every new project to use a default calendar, modify the Standard
calendar the way you want it. They can then change it if they want.

thanks Jack, I am logged into Project Professional as Administrator and have
EGlobal checked out...but I cannot seem to edit any calendar? Why might that
be? Neither can I access fields from within Tools/Customize/Fields - it is
greyed out - any ideas?

Steve:

It appears that you do not a good reference at hand as you are attempting to
use 2003 methods to do work in 2007 and they simply aren't accessed that
way. Neither of these are edited by checking out the E-global. You edit all
enterprise custom fields through PWA only, although you can use Project to
import local field definitions to the enterprise.
