Enterprise Custom Field not available in Filter in PWA

MSPS 2007, SP1, Infrastructure Update, Dec Hotfix

I have created several Enterprise Custom Fields. When I go to Project
Center and want to filter my view all are there EXCEPT, this new one I just
created.

The new Enterprise Custom Field is a Project level, text, with a lookup
table. The lookup table has 40 items in it. No graphical indicators.

I wanted to filter out some criteria based on this field so I could update
all projects that this field is still blank for, but it doesn't appear in the
filter list.

Why?
