I'm working with Project Pro 2007 and Project Server 2007. I created a
custom field with a formula (task/text) in Project Pro to test the field (all
worked great) then created an enterprise custom field by copying the formula
to the Project Server .
Then I open an enterprise project with Project Pro and insert the new custom
field into the project schedule.
The cells with the new custom field show #error until I bring up the Task
Information box for any task...then the cells in the new custom field are
populated as expected. Then I save & publish the project, close the project
(to check-in), and exit Project Pro.
Now when I open Project Pro and open the enterprise project from the Project
Server, there's a little "r" in the cells for the new custom field. And
again, if I bring up the Task Information box for any task...the cells for
the new custom field are populated as expected.
What is causing this and how can/should I fix it?
