Enterprise Custom Fields in Project Server 2007

It is possible to have difference default values for custom enterprise fields
depending upon which project template is selected.

For example - Template "A" (Admin Time Project) - Custom Field ProjectStatus
= OPEN

Template "B" (Project Plan Template) - Custom Field ProjectStatus = CLOSED

Is this possible?

I understood that since these fields are actually part of the enterprise
global template that you can have only ONE DEFAULT value for the field.

Can somebody please confirm this?

Thank You.

If they are Project-level fields, then you can set them to whatever
value you want when you save the template. Then, each time the
template is used, they will automatically have those values set.
Based on your example, these look like they are Project-level fields.

For Task-level fields, you can set these values for tasks currently in
the template. New tasks when added by the PM, however, will use the
common global default value.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Mike for the quick response.

I was unaware that this was possible in the template.

Thanks again...
