Hello, experiencing an issue and wanted to see if anyone else is also
experiencing and has discovered a work around???
Current Environment:
Project Server 2007
Sp1
Post Sp1 hot-fix package (installed Feb 22nd)
Here’s the scoop:
If I create a new table and project field to my existing configuration, all
seems normal. However, when I open Project Professional, and then go to save
the challenge begins. When I click to the right of the “Custom Field Name†to
select a “Valueâ€; I find that values from one table mixed with another table.
This is only true within the "Save to Project Server" dailog box. If I go
back into Server Settings/ Enterprise Custom Fields to view the tables -- all
is normal.
I have seen this issue in three different environments/ installations. One
environment does not have either the Sp1 or the Post Sp1 hit-fix package. The
second environment has only Sp1 installed. Third environment has both the Sp1
and the Post Sp1 hit-fix package. The issue does not present itself at the
original point of configuration, but rather when you go back to add
afterwards.
Thanks, Jason
