Enterprise Entry table vs. Entry Table - Difference?

What is the difference between the “Enterprise Entry†table and the “Entryâ€
table�

Are these two tables always in sync?

If I am working on a view based off the “entry†table and I make updates, is
the same exact data stored in the “Enterprise Entry†table as well, so that
when I use a view based off the “enterprise Entry†table, the data is the
exact same

The Enterprise Entry table is stored in the Enterprise Global file, is an
enterprise table, and only the Project Server administrator can modify it.
The Entry table is stored in your Global.mpt file on your hard drive, is a
local table, and you are allowed to modify it. Hope this helps.
