Enterprise Gantt Chart View

Is there a way to set the Enterprise Gantt Chart View to be the default view
when opening a Project from the server?

No, there's no way to force this short of using a macro. What I would do is
to set the Enterprise Gantt Chart as the initial View in every enterprise
project template used in your system. This way, whenver a PM creates a new
project using an enterprise template, he/she would start with that View.
After he/she saves and closes the project and then reopens it, again, he/she
would see that Enterprise Gantt Chart view. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. This does help with new projects. I was wondering
specifically about importing existing projects into our new project server.
We will not have many, but the ones that we are importing have a
significantly different view from the enterprise view. The Enterprise view
is available for these, but it is unfortunately not the default. Thanks
again.

You will need to teach your PMs to apply the Enterprise Gantt chart view
after importing a project. Hope this helps.
